We are seeking a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join Bloomington Medical Services in Wooster, Ohio. This is a Full Time position Monday -Friday.
Qualifications :
Active NP license in the State of Ohio
Palliative experience is strongly preferred
Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships
Computer skills to utilize Electronic Health Record
Responsibilities :
Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on recorded assessment data and current scientific and current research
Writes prescriptions for medication, blood products based upon laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, as appropriate.
Interprets and evaluates findings of studies / tests.
Recognizes deviations from normal in physical assessments and testing.
Documents care provided.
Provides on-call phone coverage (not onsite)
Must be able to work independently and collaborate with physicians and other specialties
