Occupational Therapy Assistant
MAIN FUNCTION:
Provides patient assessment in accordance with the established treatment plan, directs patient participation in related age appropriate tasks with the overall goal of restoring functions, observes and records in an objective manner and upgrades treatment based on the physician order and patient response. Patient population includes pediatric to adult and services can be provided in hospital, clinic, MR/DD site or nursing home. This position also assumes primary responsibility for evaluation and treatment of total joint replacement, lumbar laminectomy, and ADL patients. Other duties include assisting in QM and improving programs, clinical quality control. Shares responsibility for student programs, and assists in maintaining department supply inventory.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Director, Rehabilitation/Health and Wellness
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university.
Licensed by the State of Ohio.
