As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing visual disorders, and prescribing corrective lenses. The practice is known for delivering a pleasant and thorough eye care experience with a focus on expert care. We are seeking a dynamic doctor eager to grow with the practice and support the ongoing business expansion in our busy practice.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose ocular conditions.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment plans for various eye disorders.
  • Perform post-operative visits for cataract and refractive surgery.
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Educate patients on proper eye care, contact lens usage, and the importance of regular eye exams.
  • Collaborate with our team of ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
  • Take equitable part in on call rotation.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure to practice optometry.
  • ABO (American Board of Optometry) Board Eligible or Board Certified
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, optical systems, and ophthalmology principles.
  • Experience in patient care with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Sales experience is a plus, particularly in the optical field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
