Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and diagnose ocular conditions.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment plans for various eye disorders.
- Perform post-operative visits for cataract and refractive surgery.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper eye care, contact lens usage, and the importance of regular eye exams.
- Collaborate with our team of ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.
- Take equitable part in on call rotation.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state licensure to practice optometry.
- ABO (American Board of Optometry) Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Strong knowledge of physiology, optical systems, and ophthalmology principles.
- Experience in patient care with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
- Familiarity with medical records management and HIPAA compliance.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Sales experience is a plus, particularly in the optical field.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
