The Hanover Theatre Conservatory is seeking a highly qualified contemporary dance instructor to join our Dance Faculty on Monday afternoons from 4 – 6 : 30 and Wednesdays from 6 : 30 – 8pm. This individual must be capable of teaching introductory through advanced classes as students range in age from 10 – 18 years old. This is to replace an instructor who is leaving mid-semester. Dates are March 10th through May 14th but there are additional opportunities for summer 2025 and full year classes beginning in September 2025.
Potential for providing private lessons for interested students is also an option.
Qualifications :
- A minimum of 5 years working with students (of any age).
- Classroom management skills
- Highly skilled with developing choreography for class performances and / or elite dance competitions
- Extensive professional work and / or teaching in the performing arts
- Bachelors degree in related performing arts fields, Masters degree in arts or education greatly preferred
- Reliable transportation (THTC is located half a mile from Union Station- the Worcester Commuter Rail stop and / or we provide validated parking)
