Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of our summer camp children. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to provide exceptional communication. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and responding to emergencies. Worcester Fitness is the premier health club in the area catering to families in Central Mass.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all patrons.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area for cleanliness and safety hazards.
- Assist camp staff
Requirements
- Must possess current Lifeguard certification, CPR, and First Aid certification.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Experience in pool cleaning and maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to safety and attention to detail is essential.
- Consistent work attendance.
- Be available from June 23rd - August 16th.
