Job Summary
The Member Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a positive experience for our members. This position involves engaging with customers, providing information about our services, and assisting with various transactions. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset, ensuring that all member needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Duties
- Greet and assist members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Handle money transactions accurately using a cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Operate scheduling software
- Process membership applications, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Ensuring the front end is well-organized and appealing.
- Address member inquiries or concerns promptly, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Provide the correct line of communication to phone and email inquiries
- Clean and maintain all equipment and facility during, after shift
- Immediately report any damaged equipment or facilities to General Manager or Owners (toilets, ceiling lights, etc)
- Ensure security of building and members
- Enforce club rules in regards to facility usage
- Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations
- Open or close building if applicable
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent communication
- CPR/AED certified within 90 days of employment
