What are the responsibilities and job description for the Infant Teacher position at Worcester JCC Early Childhood?
Infant/Toddler Teacher- Must be EEC Certified
We have a new infant classroom and are looking for an infant teacher that has experience working with infants ages 3 months to 15 months. The candidate must have previous experience working with infants and or toddlers, work together as a team, provide a safe and nurturing environment, and develop, create and implement curriculum that meets the developmental needs of each child in our care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, fun, nurturing environment for all the children.
- Develop, implement, and maintain curriculum.
- Supervise children in a play and structured activities.
- Prepare and implement activities designed to educate young children in a variety of subjects.
- Record children's progress daily to help prepare for parent/teacher conferences.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children, performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with Directors, parents and peers.
- Working knowledge of child-led curriculum or willingness to learn.
- Be a team player with all staff and work together
- Maintain annual professional development hours ( We offer professional development days, including First Aid/CPR and other staff trainings)
Qualifications:
- DEEC Certified infants/toddler
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in early childhood education preferred or must be enrolled in an Early Childhood Education degree or program.
- First Aid/CPR required within 6 months of employment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
