What are the responsibilities and job description for the Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) position at Worcester, MA?
Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) report to the Director of Behavioral Services. The following duties and job description are not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of an employee:
•Provide ongoing support for clients and their families in home and community settings
•Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills-based assessments
•Write and maintain behavior support plans, treatment plans, and insurance authorization reports
•Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum client progress
•Attend staff meetings and clinical supervision
Physical Demands May Include:
•Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
•Assist with lifting, holding or positioning clients with disabilities (including physical, behavioral, learning, etc.)
•Sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods of time
•Standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day
•Independent mobility to move about home and community settings
Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:
•Master’s degree in psychology, education, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education or related field
•Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
•Massachusetts Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst (LABA) certification (or application in progress)
•Experience developing, writing, implementing, and evaluating individual behavioral programs
•Experience training staff in behavioral principles and procedures
•Must possess valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
•Effective and professional communication
•Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
•Critical thinking skills and problem solving
•Strong computer skills
•Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
Salary : $75 - $95
