SUBJECT: Teacher - Diesel Technology REPORTS TO: Building PrincipalThe position of Teacher - Diesel Technology is currently available at South High School. This is a Chapter 74 positionACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: This individual is accountable for teaching and supervision of students in the Diesel Technology state frameworks and curriculum disciplines under the direction of the Automotive Department Head.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: (to be included along with other responsibilities)1. Responsible for the implementation of departmental curriculum objectives based on State of Massachusetts VTE frameworks Diesel Technology.2. Responsible for the integration of the department's curriculum where appropriate.3.

SEI Endorsement4. ASE/NATEF Certifications in Diesel. 5. Minimum 5 years fulltime experience in Diesel Technology.6.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations. 7. Evidence of good human relation skills.8. Competent in computer applications.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Demonstrated experience supporting students with special needs.2. Ability to speak Albanian, Arabic, Nepali, Portuguese, Spanish, Vietnamese or an African Language. 3. Demonstrated experience with second language acquisition.WORK YEAR: 184 daysSalary shown is based on candidate only having Vocation Education Licensure.
