We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to create and maintain comprehensive documentation for our Wordly AI interpretation platform. You will play a crucial role in empowering our users, including event organizers, interpreters, and attendees, to effectively utilize our innovative technology. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Customer Success.

Develop a range of materials, including user guides, tutorials, FAQs, knowledge base articles, release notes, and online help content.Collaborate with cross-functional teams :
Work closely with product managers, engineers, support, and marketing teams to gather information, understand product features, and ensure accuracy and consistency of documentation.Understand our users :
Develop a deep understanding of our target audience and their needs to create documentation that is clear, concise, and easy to understand. Tailor content to different user personas.Ensure accuracy and quality :
Proofread and edit all documentation for grammar, style, and accuracy. Maintain a consistent style guide and ensure adherence to it.Keep documentation up-to-date :
Regularly review and update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Establish a process for managing documentation updates.Explore and implement new documentation tools and technologies :
Stay current with industry best practices and explore new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our documentation process. Suggest and implement improvements.Contribute to knowledge management :
Help build and maintain a robust knowledge base to empower users to self-serve and find answers quickly.Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Technical Communication, or a related field.3 years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the software industry.
Experience with SaaS products is required. Experience with API documentation is a plus.Excellent writing and communication skills :
Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Proficiency in using documentation tools :
Experience with Markdown is a must. Other documentation tools are a plus.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or translation technology is a plus.Experience with video tutorials or other multimedia content creation is a plus.Located in Los Altos, California, Wordly is an exciting tech startup that is looking to grow its engineering and GTM teams!
