Work-Fit, an Alliance Physical Therapy Partner, is seeking an Exercise Physiologist. The staff model provides the injury prevention model: Symptom Intervention (SI), job conditioning, work-site visits and other prevention services.
An exercise physiologist is responsible for designing and implementing exercise programs for individuals or groups of people. They work with clients to assess their fitness levels, develop goals, and create personalized exercise plans that are safe and effective. Exercise physiologists also monitor clients' progress and adjust their programs as needed to ensure they are meeting their goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' fitness levels and develop personalized exercise plans
- Monitor clients' progress and adjust exercise programs as needed
- Provide guidance and support to clients to help them achieve their fitness goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure clients' overall health and well-being
- Maintain accurate records of clients' progress and communicate this information to clients and other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Degree in exercise physiology or a related field
- Experience working with clients in a fitness or healthcare setting
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Degree in Exercise Science or other health related field
- Current certification as exercise professional with national organization in good standing
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience in teaching group exercise classes to adults
- Competency with Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel

Pay: $31.25 - $36.06 per hour
