Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Scrum Master with proven experience in Agile project delivery and deep familiarity with Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes. The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, coaching cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative insurance technology solutions that enhance policy, claims, and underwriting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
- Act as a servant leader to Agile teams delivering digital solutions for P&C insurance, including claims processing, policy administration, billing, and underwriting platforms
- Remove impediments and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to ensure backlog clarity and prioritization
- Guide teams on Agile best practices, ensuring Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe practices are followed effectively
- Support Agile metrics tracking (velocity, burndown, team health) to identify trends and opportunities for optimization
- Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile mindset, values, and delivery principles
- Ensure that solutions align with compliance, regulatory, and security standards specific to the P&C insurance domain
- Coordinate across multiple teams when operating in a scaled Agile environment (e.g., SAFe, Nexus)
Required Qualifications:
- 3 6 years of experience as a Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
- 2 years working in or with Property & Casualty insurance(e.g., auto, homeowners, commercial lines)
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, and optionally SAFe
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance lifecycle, including policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, billing, and claims
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Strong facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and IT functions
Salary : $50 - $53
