Work Now Staffing is looking to hire for Shipping and Receiving for our Willowbrook client.
Shift : 7 : 00am - 3 : 30 pm, Monday- Friday, Over time until 3 : 30pm but will be notified in advance
Pay : $17.50 per hour
Job Description :
- Determine the orders that are due today that have inventory
- Print pick tickets
- Work with Customer Service to ensure orders are entered accurately
- Pick inventory based on the customer order and stage for packing
- Pack orders ensuring the order is accurate and will not get damaged in shipping
- Use the Epicor system to ship the order ensuring all paperwork is adequate and package is labeled properly
- If the shipment is shipping LTL, prepare the product for shipping on a pallet
- Wrap products to prevent theft and damage
- Label properly so when the carrier comes in, they can determine the proper product to take
- Take the finished product from the line and locate it in the warehouse so the next picker can easily find it
- Ensure proper inventory management techniques are used, such as first in first out
- Will use computer to use a warehouse / inventory management software
- Ensure inventory accuracy
- Perform the proper system transfers
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized at all times
- Consistently look for ways to improve the processes
- Will use a sit-down forklift as needed
