Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Warehouse Associates / Customer Service Representatives for our Sarasota, FL client.
Pay : $19.00 per hour
Shift : 7 : 00am - 4 : 00pm, Monday - Friday
Job Details :
- Provide solutions and easily connect with walk-in customers by using guidance, knowledge, and a winning attitude. Working in mostly a warehouse setting, but will also be 1st point of contact for all walk-in customers
- Responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in all aspects of inventory management and working front office operations within our facility
- work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure efficient and accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, taking orders, assisting customers, and answering phones.
- Assist in inventory control systems, including maintaining accurate records of stock levels, conducting regular inventory audits, and implementing necessary adjustments to avoid discrepancies or stockouts
- Assist in filing all paperwork daily (Invoices, EOD, Inbound / Outbound, etc..). Which include truck runs and walk in orders
- Assist in cleanliness and organization of all areas
- Develop and implement efficient office layout and organization strategies to optimize space utilization and streamline workflow
- Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing, sales, and customer service, to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, resolve inventory discrepancies, and address customer inquiries or concerns
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety protocols and warehouse operating procedures to maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Assist in resolving any issues or challenges that arise during daily operations, such as inventory shortages, shipping delays, or quality control concerns
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to inventory management and shipping / receiving processes and recommend appropriate improvements or enhancements
- May have to use forklift - will be trained if they do not have experience
