Job Title : Front Desk Receptionist
Pay Range : $17.00 - $20.00
Position Summary : Perform daily flow of operations in the front office; assist in preparation of charts and patient care for the providers. Be the initial representation for the clinic to patients and companies. If interested in this role, please submit your resume and cover letter as part of your application. This position follows the opening schedule, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Perform all opening and closing duties on a daily basis according to the attached list for Front Desk #1 and Front Desk #2.
- Answer phones and take detailed messages for providers / MA’s. Only new injuries and other physicians calling need to be addressed with back staff immediately. (See number 17)
- Check office inbox throughout the day. Keep it clean and organized on a daily basis.
- Verify orders as they are received to make sure the appointment is scheduled with the correct provider and we have sufficient time to complete the exam. Verified orders are put in a daily pendaflex and then orders are re-verified the morning of the appointment.
- Schedule all appointments other than Department of Labor patients.
- Maintain the “Open Cases with no Follow-up” list.
- Maintain the following folders : Pending DS Results, Pending Test Results, Med Hold, and the TB Read folder.
- Register patients appropriately, filling in all required fields (refer to Systoc policy on registering when needed).
