Janitorial Worker

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently.

1. 35-40 hrs/ week. Monday - Friday Start time is 5:00 PM

2. Start pay is $20.00/ Hr

3. Location is in Rockland Maine

Responsibilities-

• Cleaning of Medical offices.
• Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct thorough floor care including buffing and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility.
• Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at all times.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and residential painting.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
