- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Operates most standard woodshop portable and stationery equipment.
- Coordinates supplies and staff to meet production deadlines.
- Performs routine maintenance of machinery, setting up machinery and production as required.
- Loads and unloads freight trucks, driving forklift as required.
- Performs local deliveries as required.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises the woodshop crew.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, the noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel
Travel is primarily locally during the business day.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
- Math and reading skills (6 th grade level).
Preferred Education and Experience
Licenses/Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Valid Driver’s License with certificate of insurability (corporate auto policy).
- Drug Screen.
