What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commissary Worker-Night Janitor position at Work Services Corporation?
This position works under the direct supervision of the Project Manager.
The rate of pay for this position is $17.75 per hour. PT 24 hours a week, Night Janitorial
Must pass Air Force Background check
Functions:
- Clean restrooms
- Fill dispensers
- Clean windows, mirrors, walls, and vents
- sweep, mop, and buff floors
- Vacuum Carpets
- Empty trash cans inside/outside
- Scrub floors with machines
- Strip and wax floors
- Dust
- Polish wood and chrome
- Perform maintenance on floor machines
- Professional conduct in accordance with WSC Policy
- Performs other jobs related to duties as requires by supervisor
Education:
None
Experience:
None, Prior experience with floor machines helpful, mechanical ability helpful
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
Ability to read; ability to follow instructions pertaining to chemicals. Ability to work independently
Lift up to 25lbs frequently and up to 60lbs occasionally
Bend and twist frequently and squat occasionally
Push or pull loads up to 60lbs
Reach overhead frequently
Accomplish duties in a prescribed amount of time
Practice good safety habits and be very conscientious of work
Able to retain and follow directions
Equipment/tools:
Mop, Mop buckets, dustpan, brooms, vacuum, floor buffer polisher, propane buffer, putty knife, scrubbing pads, plastic bags, plastic gloves, wet floor signs
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
