What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor II - GAFB position at Work Services Corporation?
The GAFB position is responsible for performance of janitorial services of high traffic restrooms and lobbies of GAFB Buildings. In addition, this position ensures that all trash bins are emptied on a scheduled basis and exterior of the facility is free of litter and debris to promote a welcoming environment for military personnel as outlined in the statement of work.
Essential Functions

Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area utilizing effective time management skills.
Ensures restrooms and locker rooms are presentable for usage through the performance of functions as follows:
Inspect restrooms identifying supplies needed for restocking.
Clean Mirrors
Clean sinks and countertops.
Clean and sanitize shower area.
Refill Soap Dispensers
Clean walls (including stall doors, walls, ledges, and toilet paper holders)
Replenish paper products.
Empty trash containers.
Clean toilets (seat, base, behind and under)
Clean urinals (walls, floor around urinal and under)
Sweep and mop floors.
Maintain inventory and cleanliness between cleanings.
Ensures Main Building, stairways, elevators, and Lobby are clean and presentable through the performance of functions as follows:
Clean walls (clear cobwebs from corners, remove dead bugs)
Clean windows and doors
Clean and dust displays and furniture.
Clean and disinfect water fountains.
Empty trash containers
Sweep and mop floors.
Vacuum carpeted flooring.
Sweep and blow entrances into the building.
Ensures Grounds and Exterior areas meet contractual expectations by performance of following functions:
Keeps entrance doors and windows cleaned.
Keeps sidewalks and walkways clear of litter and debris.
Empty all trash cans and take them to the dumpster.
Replenish supplies as requested in appropriate areas.
Wash and dry rags and mop heads.
Maintains professional conduct in accordance with WSC policy.
Performs other job-related duties as required by supervisor.
