What You’ll Do:
- Provide person-centered support, leading individuals in 1:1 or group activities that encourage growth, skill-building, and engagement in their daily lives.
- Be a positive role model, celebrating milestones and encouraging appropriate behaviors and emotions.
- Assist with creating and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs) tailored to each participant’s unique goals and needs.
- Help participants enjoy meaningful activities, from creative projects to life-skills workshops.
- Maintain accurate records, complete daily case notes, and ensure timely updates on progress.
- Coordinate and provide transportation to ensure participants can access their programs and activities.
- Work closely with a supportive team to create a positive and empowering environment.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly engage in physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, twisting, lifting, and reaching.
- Assist individuals with transferring in and out of vehicles as necessary.
- Use your hands and manual dexterity for tasks and support.
- Communicate effectively with clear vision, hearing, and speech to ensure safety and engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

- Experience & Skills: Training or experience in human services is helpful, but kindness, patience, and a willingness to learn are most important.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using simple software to track progress and stay organized.
- Education: Preferred qualifications include an associate's degree or higher, though it is not required.
- Language Skills: Bilingual skills are highly appreciated, as they enhance communication and connection with participants.
- Adventure-Ready: Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed, with a valid CA driver’s license to keep the fun going.
- Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older and meet pre-employment requirements, including a clear background check, drug screening, and First Aid/CPR certification (can be obtained within two months of hire).
