What You’ll Do:
Program Development & Implementation – Design and oversee Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and behavior support programs to ensure meaningful progress for individuals served.
Behavior & Crisis Management – Implement behavior support plans and follow emergency procedures to maintain a safe, supportive environment.
Service Coordination – Collaborate with day programs, consultants, and external agencies to optimize services.
Financial Oversight – Manage program budgets, individual financial accounts, and petty cash in compliance with company policies.
Staff Leadership & Training – Train, supervise, and support residential staff, ensuring they receive ongoing professional development.
Scheduling & Compliance – Oversee staff scheduling, maintain detailed records, and ensure all licensing and safety standards are met.
Health & Safety – Conduct monthly health and safety inspections and ensure vehicles and household maintenance are up to standards.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: Prior experience in community-based residential programs, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral needs. (Previous DD group home management experience is a plus!)
Education: A degree in Special Education, Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and support staff while maintaining a positive and effective team culture.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to think critically and manage crisis situations, including the potential use of physical intervention when necessary.
Communication & Organization: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
Tech-Savvy: Basic proficiency with computers and documentation systems.
Availability: Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule as required.
Valid Driver’s License & Background Check: Must have a valid Oregon driver’s license (or an acceptable MVR from another state) and pass a DHS background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Bonus Qualifications: Prior supervisory experience in a similar setting.
