Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our fleet operations. Responsibilities
- Manage the fleet operations, including scheduling maintenance and repairs for all vehicles.
- Monitor vehicle performance and implement strategies for efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding fleet operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers for vehicle maintenance and procurement.
- Analyze fleet data to identify trends and make informed decisions regarding vehicle purchases or disposals.
- Train and supervise staff involved in fleet management activities.
- Prepare reports on fleet performance metrics for upper management review.
- Implement safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees involved in fleet operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fleet Manager or similar role in transportation or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in using fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage a team effectively.
- A valid driver’s license is required; additional certifications related to fleet management are a plus.
