Responsibilities for the Boiler/Burner Service Technician:
- Install and commission new commercial boilers and burners, adhering to safety regulations and industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on existing systems to identify potential issues and optimize performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, efficiently repair or replace faulty components, and adjust burners and controls as needed.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to analyze system performance and ensure optimal efficiency and safety.
- Communicate clearly with clients, explaining repairs, maintenance, and offering recommendations for system improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and maintenance performed.
- Be available for on-call emergency service to address critical boiler/burner issues.
- Stay current on industry best practices and new technologies through ongoing training and development.
Requirements for the Boiler/Burner Service Technician:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Boiler/Burner Technician
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial boiler and burner systems required.
- Completion of HVAC/Boiler Program Trade School experience a plus!
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in electrical systems and controls related to boilers and burners.
- Knowledge of combustion principles and gas safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
