HVAC Service Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused HVAC Service Technician to provide exceptional repair and maintenance services for our customers' heating, air conditioning, and ventilating systems. Responsibilities :
Arrive at customer locations on time and prepared to address their HVAC needs.
Effectively communicate with customers regarding system operation, maintenance, and preventative measures, offering professional recommendations for system optimization.
Present customers with options for additional services that may be beneficial.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including refrigerant replenishment and filter replacement.
Install and configure thermostats, dehumidifiers, and timers, providing customer instruction on proper usage.
Replace HVAC system components such as coils, compressors, and controls.
Utilize a variety of tools, including electrical hand tools, saws, drills, vacuums, and refrigerant gauges.
Diagnose system issues by applying technical skills and experience, including knowledge of system operations and preventative maintenance.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Accurately document the details of each service call.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
High school diploma or GED
Must have a minimum of 2 years running HVAC service calls independently
Must be registered with the Arkansas Department of Health.
Must have EPA Section 608 certification to handle refrigerants
Applicable HVAC licenses by an accredited institution.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Willingness and ability to mentor trainees and apprentices.
Ability to read and interpret technical instructions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of HVAC equipment, tools, and repair methods.
Solid understanding of the operating principles of air conditioning and heating systems, as well as HVAC safety practices.
Proven diagnostic skills.
Ability to explain technical information clearly to customers.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with relevant HVAC software tools for tasks such as timekeeping, customer billing, and processing credit card payments.
