What are the responsibilities and job description for the 1st shift Machine Operator (Thin Gauge)- Thermoforming position at Workbox Staffing?
Manufacturing Associate $16/hr. – Greenville, SC
M-Th 6 AM-4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Ability to arrive on time and be at the workstation at time above
- Follow Direction
- Basic machine Operation knowledge
- Ability to work in a Hot plant environment during the summer months. (Fans are available)
- Ability to follow directions and listen.
- Work as a team member.
- Work at a consistent pace to meet daily production number
- Follow all safety rules and protocols
- Follow all PPE requirements.
- Assist in other basic tasks as requested.
- Press Operator. Putting parts into and out of Press according to correct directions (training provided)
Skills:
- Standing for a 10-hour shift
- Lifting up 30-40lbs
- Ability to do basic Mathematics
- Know how to use a tape Measure.
- Familiar with cutting material on a Band Saw helpful but not required (Training provided)
- Forklift Experience Preferred but not required
- Very Light lifting required
- Must understand English (written and verbal)
- High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
