Press Brake Assistant, up to $18.50/hr - Clinton Twp, MI

Qualifications:
- Be willing to learn plate forming, metal finishing, and other metal fabrication processes
- Must assist the Press Brake Operator in the operation of a 22 foot press brake
- Must be willing to learn and work as a team
- Must be able to multi task in a fast paced environment
- Other duties as assigned
Skills:
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Must possess basic math skills
- Must be able to read tape measure
- Must have ability to read and understand blueprints preferred
A day in the life at this company for this position consists of showing up and working 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional OT. In this position, you’d be responsible for assisting the press brake operator in the operation of their 22 foot press brake machines. This position requires the willingness to learn from the press brake operator to eventually graduate into that role.
