Job Summary
Workbox Staffing is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for a Lead Installer role in Allendale. As a Lead Installer, you will oversee and guide the installation of industrial sheet metal products in various environments. This role requires both leadership and technical skills, as you will be working hands-on to ensure projects are completed to specification and within deadlines, while also mentoring and managing a team of installers. If you enjoy hands-on work and have a passion for sheet metal installation, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and guide a team of installers to ensure successful, on-time project completion
- Operate metalworking machines to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape, and straighten sheet metal
- Install industrial sheet metal products according to design specifications and building codes
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work specifications to ensure accuracy in installations
- Conduct quality control inspections on installed materials and systems
- Provide on-site leadership to the installation crew, ensuring proper techniques and safety protocols are followed
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working condition
- Communicate with project managers and clients regarding project updates, timelines, and changes
- Travel for 50-75% of job assignments, working at different job sites across various locations
- Assist with training new team members and support their professional development
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and worksite safety protocols
