1st Shift - Maintenance Technician, $26-$30 / hr - Caledonia, MI

Preferred Qualifications :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills between shifts with operators : verbal, listening and reading.
Operate a Powered Industrial Forklift, clam truck, or any other maintenance equipment in a safe manner, following all rules and regulations that are set forth.
Respond to floor calls-write work orders for further work required.
Perform PM’s on a timely basis
Repair Machines and complete work orders
Read and understand Hydraulic and Pneumatic Schematics.
Ability to start up all machines in productions and support
Preferred Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedural documents.
Ability to properly use and understand the required measurement equipment including tape measures, micrometers, and other tools as required by specific
Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages
Previous experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment (corrugated product experience)
Regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk and hear.
