Material Handler - 1st Shift - $17.50 / hr - Saline, MI

Responsibilities :
- Operate various equipment such as forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, propane, and electric) to move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Label, organize, and track inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Perform daily cycle counts and assist with inventory management as needed.
- Use ladders and work at reasonable heights when necessary to handle materials.
- Ensure smooth operations and meet production goals.
- Use computer systems, work orders, and verbal instructions to locate, load, and unload materials
Qualifications / Skills :
As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate movement of materials to and from workstations and shipping areas. You will also operate forklifts to load and unload goods, maintain an organized inventory, and ensure all materials are safely transported. Additionally, you will be involved in labeling and sorting materials to maintain a clean and efficient workspace. This is a physically demanding role that requires a proactive and reliable candidate who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
