Mechanic / Machine Builder, $30-$35 / hr – Warren, MI

Qualifications :
Experience working as a mechanic
Must have mechanical aptitude
Basic fabrication skills
Ability to take apart and repair machines
Experience using a mill and lathe
Basic cutting, welding, drilling, and tapping skills
Ability to run a CBC
Strong mechanical aptitude, including ability to disassemble, diagnose, repair, and reassemble machinery
Skills :
Must be able to meet physical requirements and lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to read drawings preferred
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to read blueprints
Able to drive a forklift
Overhead crane experience preferred
In this position, you’d be responsible for retrofitting, upgrading, and assembling / disassembling reconditioned, refurbished industrial machinery. This position also requires you to help out with general machine shop duties like operating an overhead crane and forklift as needed! You will also use fabrication tools, mills, lathes, welding equipment, and other machinery to repair and build equipment.
