Job Description Job Description Quality Control Technician - 1st Shift -Up to $23 / hr –Plymouth, MIAre you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in the products you consume? Apply today!Qualifications : Maintain schedule and log for label printing / control to ensure accurate labeling of products.Perform quality control tests on finished products, including tasting at the appropriate dilution with pH, brix, and color determination as needed. Make adjustments if necessary to meet quality standards.Maintain complete QC and production records for all products, ensuring accurate documentation of testing and adjustments.Ensure laboratory cleanliness and proper maintenance of laboratory equipment. Calibrate equipment according to the designated schedule.Check-in raw materials upon arrival by verifying PO#s and appropriate documentation. Test raw materials for compliance to attached COAs using associated lab techniques such as FTIR.Skills : High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.Solid understanding of test equipment and laboratory procedures requiredStrong working knowledge of enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).Strong analytical and mathematics skillsAbility to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.Must have prior food manufacturing experience - this is a deal breaker!A s a Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and consistency of our flavorings for smoothies, ICEEs, chocolate, and ice cream for your favorite brands!
