Seaming Operator
Location : Walker, MI
Pay : 18-$20 / hr
Shift :
1st Shift : 7 am - 3 : 30 pm, Monday-Friday
Job Summary :
Set up and operate the seaming machine. This includes manual labor on the production line, operating and basic troubleshooting machinery, and a basic understanding of the machine's computer program. This position may have to perform minor repairs as necessary. You’ll be responsible for packing quality products.
Responsibilities :
- Performs limited setup and machine adjustments
- Operate production line machinery and computers occasionally
- Pre-inspect parts
- Quality inspections of the finished product. Make adjustments as necessary and reject products that do not pass quality standards
- Follow work instructions / orders
- complete daily production logs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following the company’s safety protocols
- Make sure equipment is turned off and locked out when not in use
- Assist in repair work when needed
- Assist and fill in other production line positions when needed (open to cross-training)
- All other tasks are assigned by the supervisor.
