Job Overview:
We are looking for a dependable and organized Crew Lead to help with staffing at several refrigerated food warehouse sites in Jessup, MD, and nearby areas. As a Crew Lead, you will coordinate staffing needs at different locations, acting as the main contact between our company and the client’s management teams. This job involves some office work, traveling to warehouse sites, and making sure our team follows Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). You won’t manage warehouse operations directly, but you will work closely with the client’s managers to make sure staffing needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Team Coordination:
- Supervise and manage the staff assigned to different client sites, ensuring their performance meets the client's expectations.
- Act as a link between our company and the client, keeping clear communication with warehouse management teams at various locations.
- Help onboard and train new employees at different sites on their roles, safety procedures, and GMP guidelines.

Client Communication:
- Be the main contact for client management at each site regarding staffing schedules, attendance, and performance.
- Respond to client requests and adjust staffing levels as needed to meet operational needs at various warehouse locations.
- Work with client managers to solve staffing issues and escalate concerns if necessary.

Administrative Responsibilities:
- Manage the schedule and timekeeping for the staffing crew, ensuring all shifts are covered and documented.
- Keep accurate records of staffing assignments, attendance, and performance for internal reports.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for tasks like generating reports, tracking schedules, and communicating with clients.

On-call Duties:
- Be available for on-call weekends to handle any urgent staffing or client-related issues.
- Assist with last-minute staffing changes to meet client needs quickly.

Travel:
- Regular travel between multiple client sites within the Jessup, MD area and nearby locations is required.
Qualifications:

Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a staffing or supervisory role, preferably in warehouse or industrial settings.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with the ability to manage relationships effectively across different sites.
- Bilingual: English/Spanish

Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of GMP and safety practices in a warehouse is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) for administrative tasks.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team while maintaining good relationships with clients.

- Occasional visits to warehouse sites, which may involve working in cold, refrigerated environments.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday to Friday with occasional on-call weekends.
- Pay Rate: $18 per hour.
