Now Hiring: Forklift / Clamp Truck Operator
Location: Lakeland
Pay: $17/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM and every other Saturday
Start Date: Interview today, start tomorrow
Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Forklift / Clamp Truck Operator to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position with immediate openings available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a forklift and clamp truck to load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance issues
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse and storage areas
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including staging, labeling, and scanning materials
- Work as part of a team to meet production and shipping deadlines
- Perform general labor and housekeeping duties as assigned
- Cross-train in other departments and assist with additional tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating forklifts and clamp trucks REQUIRED
- MUST have a steady work history!
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must pass a drug screen and background check
- Strong work ethic and a high level of reliability
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks outside of forklift operation
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work well in a team environment
