What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for customer support and parts coordination. You’ll ensure seamless communication between the sales team, customers, and other departments while maintaining accurate records and handling customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by consulting with clients to resolve issues and offer support.
- Maintain detailed customer records, including interactions, transactions, and account updates.
- Prepare customer invoices and coordinate with the shipping department.
- Communicate product details, availability, and credit terms to customers.
- Correspond with customers regarding production progress, costs, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the sales team to process purchase orders efficiently.
- Utilize your knowledge of machines or equipment to discuss the features and uses of various parts.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- 3 years of related experience, preferably in the marine or power generation industries.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with reading instructional manuals and technical drawings (preferred).
- Proficiency in maintaining electronic records and working with automated systems.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check, physical (if applicable), and drug screening.
- Bilingual in Spanish (a plus).
