What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Maintenance Technician position at WORKERS.COM?
We have an immediate opening for a industrial plant maintenance technician for a manufacturing shop in the Richmond, Ca area. We are looking for a skilled tech who has experience working with and repairing pump systems and other plant related equipment. The long term goal for this opening is to train into a strong plant maintenance technician and move into supervisory or maintenance manager for the right maintenance technician.
Expectations :
- Perform plant maintenance work and all preventive maintenance work required as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Help control maintenance supply inventories reporting when items are getting low to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Help control company owned maintenance tools reporting items that are missing or special tools that are needed to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Fully trained for the safe operation of the forklift and scissors lift
- Complete daily housekeeping duties as identified
- Operate and troubleshoot production equipment
- Follow all Safety training and GMP policies
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Fully trained on boiler safety
- Visually alert to items in the plant that may need repair / attention and address / report these observations
- Trained and able to perform plant start up and shut down duties
Critical experience required :
Salary : $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
