Position Title: Workers Compensation Home Health Staffing Coordinator

Job Summary: The Home Health Workers Compensation Staffing Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the arrangement and scheduling of home health workers while also ensuring compliance and continuity of care of the injured worker. This role involves coordinating the staffing needs of the injured worker to guarantee that high-quality care is delivered in a timely and efficient, cost- saving manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Facilitating home health services, including nurses, therapists, and home health aides for the injured worker
  • Maintain a pool of qualified and credentialed healthcare professionals available for assignments.
  • Negotiate pricing to ensure cost savings for services.

Scheduling:

  • Create and manage schedules for claimants returning to their home environment.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client demands while minimizing overtime and travel time.
  • Handle scheduling changes, last-minute replacements, and emergency staffing issues.

Workers' Compensation Compliance:

  • Stay up to date with workers' compensation regulations and ensure the agency's compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
  • Report and document workplace injuries and accidents promptly.
  • Assist injured employees in navigating the workers' compensation process, including filing claims and accessing medical care.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Maintain clear and effective communication channels with home health workers, clients, and the management team.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisors, case managers, and other stakeholders to match the right caregivers with specific patient needs.
  • Address staffing concerns and issues promptly and professionally.

Documentation and Record Keeping:
