Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Staffing:
- Facilitating home health services, including nurses, therapists, and home health aides for the injured worker
- Maintain a pool of qualified and credentialed healthcare professionals available for assignments.
- Negotiate pricing to ensure cost savings for services.
Scheduling:
- Create and manage schedules for claimants returning to their home environment.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet client demands while minimizing overtime and travel time.
- Handle scheduling changes, last-minute replacements, and emergency staffing issues.
Workers' Compensation Compliance:
- Stay up to date with workers' compensation regulations and ensure the agency's compliance with all relevant laws and policies.
- Report and document workplace injuries and accidents promptly.
