What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist position at WorkFit Medical?
We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position in New York State. If you’re a skilled RRT with a passion for providing exceptional care across neonate to adult patients, we’d love to hear from you!
Position Details:
- Shift Schedule: Night shifts, 3 shifts per week (12 hours per shift)
- Total Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: 2-3 weekend nights per month
Qualifications:
- License: Active NYS Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Preferred Certification: NRP (not required)
- Experience: Minimum 2 years; prior NICU experience preferred but not required
- Skills:
- Strong critical care and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in high-flow oxygen therapy, mechanical ventilation, non-invasive ventilation, and arterial punctures
- Familiarity with respiratory care protocols
Additional Info:
- No on-call or floating required
- Work with a supportive team in a dynamic clinical environment
Salary : $60 - $63
