Workforce Capital is Hiring several Quality Line Audidtors and GP12 workers for Thomson Plastics, 130 Quality Dr, Thomson, Ga.

Quality Line Auditor

Job Description

Support, strengthen and advance the mission and operating philosophy of the Thomson Plastics team.
Abide by all regulations within the Employee Handbook.
Participate in required training programs.

Responsibilities and Authority

Perform and approve all First Article Inspections and verify Startup and Line Clearance Processes to include but not limited to :

Verify work cell layouts

Verify proper documentation is present

Perform line audits on parts per the directions listed on part specific inspection forms during production. Line audits include the following :

Visual inspections

Measuring required dimensions (diameters, lengths, widths, etc.)

Performing flex, breakage, and flatness test as required

Complete line audit forms as required.

Perform specialized tests as required.

Ensure that HOLD items are labeled at the press and coordinate with Lead Quality Line Auditor for movement to the NCM area

Perform periodic part quality and label checks (visual verification) at the press.

Reject product that does not meet customer’s requirements.

Immediately notify the Lead Quality Line Auditor of any quality problems or Shift Production Lead if the Lead Quality Line Auditor is unavailable.

Have flexibility to perform other tasks as required by the Quality Manager and / or the Quality Engineers.

Ensure the Quality Management System requirements are met.

Perform / assist duties as Lead Quality Auditor when required

Qualifications

Knowledge of customer requirements

Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Must complete Munsel Color Test

Basic knowledge of gage usage

Basic computer skills
