Job Title: Senior Scientist, Antibody/Protein Engineering
Primary responsibilities include:
- Cloning, production and purification of engineered proteins
- Assay development and biophysical characterization of novel therapeutic proteins.
- Develop and execute developability analysis for lead proteins.
- Support external development and manufacturing teams to aid in progressing molecules to the clinic.
- Develop processes and assays to discover, generate and characterize antibodies against selected target antigens
- Execute strategies for antibody optimization efforts employing advanced molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology techniques, protein analytics and modeling bioinformatics.
- Humanization, affinity maturation, and Fc engineering of novel antibodies to meet program targets.
- Stability engineering of antibodies.
- This role will collaborate with cross functional teams to discover and optimize novel therapeutic leads. Understanding disease biology in the context of antibody structure-function relationship is important.
Requirements:
- PhD in Molecular Biology, Protein Engineering, Biochemistry or other relevant fields with 3 years of postdoctoral experience.
- Experience and expertise in therapeutic antibody discovery and engineering with a strong publication record.
- Strong hands-on molecular biology experience is required.
- Experience in antibody expression and purification.
- Experience in mentoring, training and managing others
- Expertise in display technologies and combinatory library design is a plus.

Salary Range Senior Scientist: $100,800 - $166,462
