Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive market research to identify prospective clients and uncover new business opportunities that are part of our ideal customer profile.
- Actively prospect and generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
- Engage with potential clients, schedule meetings, qualify/disqualify leads and conduct product demonstrations for the sales team.
- Develop a deep understanding of Workforce Software's products and solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential clients.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to drive pipeline growth and achieve sales targets.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions using our CRM system.
- Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments.
- Participate in sales meetings, team trainings, and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.
Requirements
- Seeking a passionate individual to sell a great product with 6 months of business development experience, who is looking to take your career to the next level
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in a business development role
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with prospects.
- Strong negotiation and persuasive skills to convert leads into qualified opportunities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented growth mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach) is a plus.
- Knowledge of workforce management, HR software, or related industry experience is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend industry events.
