A position that combines work and training, available through Workforce Solutions Coastal Bend. Candidates will be considered after their eligibility in the program is assessed.
- Office Operations: Operate a range of office machines including photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Customer Service: Answer telephone calls, direct callers, take messages, communicate with customers, employees, and other individuals to address questions, provide information, take orders, and resolve complaints.
- Data Management: Maintain and update filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems either manually or using a computer.
- Record Keeping: Compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions, and other activities.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in operating office machines such as photocopiers, scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
- Experience: Previous clerical experience is strongly desired.
