Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Workforce Solutions Virens Global. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiographic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Positions patient to image the required anatomy for optimal results. Ensures patient safety by following established radiation safety policies and procedures.
- Imaging Procedures: Performs various procedures in imaging areas such as fluoroscopy, diagnostic, surgical, portable, CT. Operates digital radiographic equipment to process radiographic images at optimum level for interpretation by radiologist.
- Radiation Safety: Utilizes radiation exposure reduction techniques such as proper collimation and lead shielding to minimize radiation exposure. Wears personal radiation monitoring device daily.
- Administrative Duties: Schedules exams coordinating schedule with available techs, mobile services and radiologists. Assumes phone responsibilities. Ensures patient charges are accurate for billing.
Requirements:
- Current ARRT RT (R) credential
- Current Oregon license in Radiologic technology
- BLS
- 1 years of experience in a Cath Lab/Angio environment
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
