Inside Sales Agent--Health Insurance
Growing health insurance office is adding an Inside Sales Agent to their team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to helping clients find the right fit for their health insurance needs, will have a willingness to call on provided leads and referrals (no cold calls).
Responsibilities:
--General office duties
--Build relationships with clients so that they feel valued
--Call on provided leads and referrals, no cold calls or lead generation.
--Communicate with prospective and existing clients about policies and available options
--Provide written quotes for new coverages and answer client questions
--Perform client retention activities
--Meet sales goals
--Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
--High School Diploma or GED
--Must hold or be willing to obtain a MN Health Insurance Producers License
--Previous sales experience
--Proficient in Word and Excel
--Experience with Sales Force or other CRM
--Dependable and reliable with a stable work history
Base Schedule:
M-F 9a-4:30p, some overtime required during open enrollment period.
This is an in-office position
Compensation:
Base salary $36-$41K annually plus commission on all new contracts (Anticipated 1st year salary $50-$55K)
Benefits:
Paid time off and paid holidays after 1 year of service
Reimbursement for licensing class and exam after 1 year of service
**All candidates must meet requirements to hold a MN Insurance Producers License. They must also be willing to submit to, and pass, a pre-employment background check and drug testing.
