Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Production Workers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with both hand and power tools. This role involves assembling products, operating machinery, and ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of machinery and power tools to fabricate components for production.
- Assemble products on the assembly line according to specifications and quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while maintaining safety protocols.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the manufacturing facility or warehouse.
- Assist in training new employees on proper assembly techniques and safety practices.
Requirements
- Picking small parts with a bar code gun and taking them to the ups line for shipping.
- Ability to follow instructions and understand/interpret orders
- Quality and safety conscious with attention to detail
- Previous experience in a manufacturing facility, factory, or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols within the workplace.
