Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machining processes.
Responsibilities
* Use of correct Machine Work instructions and XL Production Router for machine and job setup o Correct machine and mold, o Correct lubrication used, o Follow First In, First Out (FIFO) material flow,
* Use of measurement gages record quality and process checks as required by XL Production Router and record on Process Log Sheet o Weigh prep and record as required, o Record temperatures as required, o Perform visual and dimensional checks and record as required (Initial and Ongoing).
* Log in to correct work order in Global Shop as required.
* Implement Initial Inspection and Visual Inspection.
* Any other activities assigned by supervisor.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in machining processes, including CNC operation, lathe work, and press brake machine operation.
- Familiarity with plastics extrusion processes is a plus.
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers is essential.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.00 per hour
