The Rubber Splicing Operator is responsible for the efficient and precise splicing of rubber products, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety protocols. This role involves working with various rubber materials to create strong, durable connections for manufacturing and repair processes. Key Responsibilities: Perform splicing operations on rubber materials, including belts, hoses, and gaskets, using appropriate techniques and equipment. Ensure proper alignment and bonding of rubber components to meet specified dimensions and performance standards. Conduct quality inspections of spliced products to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Maintain accurate records of splicing processes, materials used, and finished products. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to splicing operations as they arise. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimal downtime. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Keep tools and equipment clean and well-maintained, reporting any malfunctions to management. Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and best practices in rubber splicing. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in rubber processing or a related field preferred. Previous experience in rubber splicing or manufacturing is a plus. Familiarity with rubber materials, adhesives, and splicing techniques. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
