We are searching for a Receptionist that will grow into an Account Service Representative for an insurance brokerage and risk management firm in Montgomery, Al. The Receptionist / Account Service Representative candidate is someone who is looking for a new opportunity with room for advancement.
Once transitioned (3-4 months) to the Assistant Service Representative you will need to obtain your license and your CISR designation over several years as you assist on accounts and then you are transitioned to an Account Manager.
What You’ll Do as a Receptionist :
- Answer phones at front desk
- Scan and route mail via Imageright scanner system
- Accept packages
- Aid commercial lines department team by processing motor vehicle record requests
- Add / delete autos & drivers as requested
- Order supplies as requested
- Other duties as assigned
What You’ll Do as an Account Service Representative :
Other duties to help support the insurance process by performing the following duties :
Account Service : Assist Account Manager(s) in overall account service-related duties including, but not limited to policy changes, invoicing, certificate issuance for new and renewal business, audits, run MVR's, evidence of property certificates, updating Sagitta and ImageRight systems detail. Reviewing policy checklists to determine inaccuracies in policies and forwarding policies to clients (electronically & physically if requested & uploading to client portal).
Client Information / Requests : Receive and respond to client requests for information, policy changes, etc. Assist in obtaining coverage specifics, and other information necessary to prepare company applications / quotes for new and renewal business.
General Team Support : Keep Account Manager (s) and Producer(s) informed of major changes / problems. Answer telephone, maintain workflow within the team. Follow company procedures and provide general assistance to all team members.
What You’ll Need :
The pay range for the Receptionist / Account Service Representative is $20 / hour depending on experience and skill sets.
