We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center environment. Pay Rate: $18/hr
Location: Ashland, VA
Duties
- Operate forklifts, including cherry pickers and stand up reach trucks, to transport materials and products throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
- Perform heavy lifting and materials handling tasks as required.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Assist warehouse supervisors in organizing and managing stock levels.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficient in operating forklifts and heavy equipment with a strong understanding of safety regulations.
