JOB DESCRIPTION: Theater and House Coordinator
The Theater and House Coordinator provides administrative and organizational support to the
Department of Performing Arts, liaise to interdepartmental staff as required to: support flow of
information, audience development, support Performing Arts components as well as performance
aspects of large scale interdepartmental events.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
PRIMARY DUTIES- approximately 80% of time
- Ticketing. Assists PA Team to maintain ticketing software database by creating/updating
instructors/contractors, and assist management of audience and student customer database,
general inventory and attendance.
- Venue Management. Typically during weekend hours, assist or supervise front-of-house staff
front-of-house staffing, training, and guest services during performances.
- Scheduling. Coordinate master calendar for performance venues, liaise with other
special events linked to department. Advise and monitor crew calls during production weeks
leading up to Performing Arts activities.
- Concessions inventory management. In coordination with our PA Team members, ensure
low-stock items, identify or recommend products for each production.
- Monitor Maintenance. Monitor overall cleanliness and/or safety concerns in studios and
areas related to Workhouse Performing Arts, including the storage and rehearsal rooms,
Green Room, Dressing Rooms, Makeup Room and other areas, as assigned
SECONDARY DUTIES- approximately 20% of time
- Hands on. Duties will require some light lifting (25 pounds or less) while stocking, inventorying

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS.
